Fascia and Soffit Boards (Eaves)

We can carry out two types of installation – Full Replacement or Cappit. Full Replacement entails removing all the existing fascia, soffit and gutters whilst Cappit means to remove the gutters and cover over the fascia and soffit, fitting new gutters. Whichever is best for yourself you can be assured that we never cover rot.

If you decide to have Full Replacement this is what we do:

Remove and dispose of existing fascia, soffit and gutters.
We then lift the first few row of tiles (not gable ends) and replace the first few inches of felt with either DPC or monofoil high performance PVCu felt (when necessary). Any exposed timber is now treated with wood preservative.

We are now ready to start the installation. All fixings are Stainless Steel, so they never rust, visible fixings have trim top heads. Wherever possible, we use full lengths of PVCu so we have a minimum amount of joints. However, Kestrel PVCu only comes in five metre lengths so on longer runs we have to join lengths with purpose made joints for a neat finish. We always install a new PVCu rainwater system.

If you decide to have Cappit this is what we do:

Remove and dispose of existing gutters.
Fix high quality fascia boards and soffits using Stainless Steel fixings, so they never rust, visible fixings have trim top heads. Install a new rainwater system.

The colours we offer are White, Woodgrain effects Rosewood, Oak and Black.
